GENERAL INFORMATION

Targets:  Targets will include skeet, DTL and sporting, shot from safety frames (singles, pairs). Targets will be set to cater for all ability levels. No limit on the amount of targets shot over the session.

Ranges: We aim at getting you to enjoy your Hitting Targets experience to the maximum including getting you to aim at and hit as many targets as you can during the session time. Sometimes when group numbers are large two ranges are recommended to get the maximum amount of shots in - we split you into teams and rotate them between ranges. However some groups prefer to all stay on the one range but extend the time to three hours - so they don't miss out on any of the antics.

Equipment supplied: hearing and eye protection, padded shooting jackets, ammunition, safety cages, use of firearms

Clothing: wear enclosed shoes (no heels), hat, sunscreen, sunglasses or spectacles, we suggest wearing a shirt without a collar and women try not to wear a bra with any clips or metal on the front of the shoulder – but since it may be a bucks party the men are definitely welcome to wear a bra or other fancy dress ….  just be mindful of where the metal clips are.

Photography:  Images of each shooter actually shooting and group photographs will be taken by staff. A DVD of images will be provided.

Licensing Requirements: all participants must be 12 years of age or older, all participants must meet the NSW Police requirement of being approved through a P650 declaration form (for unlicensed shooters) or be licensed clay target shooters.

Insurance: Public Liability insurance provided.

Weather: The session goes ahead if it is raining, cold or windy. However we do cancel/postpone/wait out the weather when there is hail or lightning or really really heavy rain. Shooting in normal rain can be really fun, you can often see the shot string come out of the firearms which helps with aiming for beginners.

Hens: We have a range of firearms including some that are light weight and low recoil that are suitable for those a little worried about recoil and strength - they suit small 12 year olds. You have a choice of male or female instructors.

Deposits, payment, rescheduling, cancellation: A $500 deposit is required 2 weeks in advance for all bucks/hens parties, this books the range, the date. We often do more than one bucks /hens party a day so the earlier a booking is made the more likely of getting the time slot you require for that day. If the booking is cancelled within 7 days of the event the deposit is forfeited (mostly because we still get charged for the range and could have booked someone else in that time slot), however rescheduling can take place but if that rescheduled date is then cancelled the deposit is forfeited. Full payment is required before the event starts, cash only is accepted on the day - we are happy to individually collect on the day and provide receipts and change. The final cost ill be altered to the actual number present not the number quoted - the sliding payment schedule will be used.

Prior to the event:

• Complete and return P650 declaration form

• Complete and return ‘Hitting Targets’ pre-shoot information form to ensure ease of firearm selection i.e. height, handedness etc.

• Pay deposit

• Confirm numbers
